Tinkoff Business has launched a free geoanalysis service, Compass. It will allow entrepreneurs to choose the optimal location for opening a point of sale in a specific area of the city, taking into account traffic, the size of the average check and the competitive environment, a Tinkoff representative told RB.RU.
The service uses data from the Tinkoff Data analytical project, which processes anonymous information on consumer behavior from 37 million customers in the ecosystem.
“Compass” can analyze a location based on specific parameters and create a heat map of the area: the lighter the area in the “Buyers” filter, the more potential buyers, and the lighter the area in the “Competitors” filter, more competitors.
The service offers analysis of 36 offline retail business categories: auto parts, car services, antiques, pharmacies, workshops, bars, home goods, pet stores, bookstores, pawn shops, opticians, hotels, grocery stores , restaurants, cafes, beauty salons and more.
Using the Compass you can evaluate:
- number of competitors in the area
- number of potential buyers
- average invoice in the selected category of goods and services
- average number of purchases per person
- average number of purchases per point of sale
- average turnover of a retail establishment in the area
- average cost of renting a room per month
- average rental cost of one square meter per year
- purchasing dynamics over six months in the business category of interest
The interactive map data is updated every month.
Compass is available at launch in 16 cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Ufa and Chelyabinsk. The number of cities on the map and industries for analysis will be expanded.
To access the analysis of all business metrics and location data, you must log in to the project website using your mobile phone number.
