Bogota Metropolitan Police sources confirmed to EL TIEMPO that another driver ran him over at the start of the graduation ceremony at the Movistar Arena last Tuesday, October 17th. He was caught because of his involvement in the intolerance case.

Authorities told this newspaper that the person was detained for 10 years. Personal injuries and damage to property of others.

According to reports from the Ministry of Mobility, the incident occurred at the beginning of the university graduation ceremony on Tuesday, October 17.

Apparently the man in the Renault Scenic van cut through the entry row of the event. Amid calls for caution, he would unleash chaos outside the Movistar Arena.

Videos of that moment show the man hitting the Audi truck first. Later, when the driver of the car gets out, the man in the Renault Scenic runs over him.

Although the man planned to escape, he was detained meters later.
