After the leak comes the official confirmation. Hollow Knight: Silksong will be available on Xbox Game Pass to the day one. The announcement came with a trailer during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase.

The news was expected yesterday by well-known leaker The Snitch who had posted on Twitter an image of Hollow Knight Silksong with the caption “Day One”, accompanied by a green circlea clear reference to the possible arrival of the long-awaited sequel to Hollow Knight on Xbox Game Pass.

Officially announced in 2019, Hollow Knight: Silksong is the highly anticipated sequel to Team Cherry’s critically acclaimed metroidvania. The main protagonist of the game is Hornet, a fighting princess and protector of Hallownest, who finds herself exploring a whole new realm. Trapped and transported to this unfamiliar environment, Hornet will have to fight and solve the mysteries of the new kingdom in an attempt to reach the top on a sort of deadly pilgrimage.

The style of Hollow Knight: Silksong it is clearly derived from that of its predecessor, with strange and fascinating natural environments full of bizarre civilization ruins made up of insect figures. Hornet comes with new fighting styles, weapons and specific skills, with the ability to craft new gear and get other new features.

Hollow Knight: Silksong will continue to exist for the time being without release date.
