In celebration of Dragon’s Dogma’s 10th anniversary event, director Hideaki Itsuno announced: Dragon’s Dogma 2the sequel to the critically acclaimed RPG released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. The game, Capcom reveals, will be made in RE enginethe graphics engine that has been used to create Resident Evil in recent years.
Capcom will therefore not adopt the Epic Games engine for Dragon’s Dogma 2, but will continue to use the RE engine, patented graphics engine that provides excellent technical satisfaction. At the moment we have no other information about the project. We only know that the title is in development and that the team is working hard to create an experience for fans to enjoy.
Although the project is still shrouded in mystery, this is excellent news for all those fans who have been waiting for years for the arrival of a new chapter in the saga. We remind you that Capcom also recently opened the site to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the game that describes all the stages in the history of Dragon’s Dogma.
