The well-known leaker The Snitch has posted an image linked to on Twitter in recent days Final Fantasy VII, suggesting big news is coming tonight at the Square Enix event that we remind you to air at exactly midnight. The most accredited hypothesis is that the announcement suggested by the leaker has to do with the arrival of a remastered version of Cris Core: Final Fantasy VIIthe prequel spin-off of the beloved Square Enix chapter that tells the adventures of bag fair, released on PSP.

The tweet published by The Snitcher, which we report below, features an image showing the final sequence of Final Fantasy VII Remake. In the picture in question figure Bag trailing Cloud, while we see Aerith in the background. In addition, the tweet contains four colored squares that most likely indicate the different platforms: PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and Steam.

The possibility that a Cris Core remaster or remake will be announced tonight is actually very real, given the past Hajime Tabata, director of FF XV and Cris Core, had talked about the possibility that we wouldn’t be able to see the spin-off again until after the release of the Final Fantasy VII remake.

We remind you that The Snitch has proven itself in recent weeks as a extremely reliable leakercorrectly anticipating many of the Summer Game Fest announcements from the release date of The Last of Us: Part 1 to landing on Xbox Game Pass on day one of Silksong.

These remain of course pure and simple at the moment speculations To find out what announcement it is, we’ll have to wait for tonight’s event.
