Hideo Kojima has announced the title ‘Death Stranding 2: On the Beach’ in Sony’s latest State of Play. The ‘Silent Hill’ series also rose to prominence with the remake of ‘Silent Hill 2’ and a new episode, ‘Silent Hill: Text Message’, available for free.

Kojima revealed more information about ‘Death Stranding 2’, which is planned to be released in 2025 for PS5. The sequel will follow ‘Sam Porter’s mission to save humanity from supernatural enemies. He also announced a transmedia project called ‘Physint’, which combines gaming and film.
“We plan to bring together cutting-edge technology and talent from around the world to create this. It’s an interactive game, of course, but it’s also a movie in terms of aesthetics, story, theme, cast, acting, form and sound,” the video game designer detailed .
The new game ‘Sonic X Shadow Generations’, which has improved features of the 2011 game and is Sonic’s arch-enemy, was also introduced at the event. Other news included ‘Helldivers 2’ coming to PC and PS5 on February 8th and ‘Stellar Blade’, a hack and slash, coming out on April 26th.
