On the occasion of the Tokyo Game Show 2022, Konami has officially announced Suikoden I&II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars, the remastered version of the first two historical chapters of the series. The collection will be released in 2023 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Konami had already confirmed that she would be returning to the Tokyo Game Show with the announcement of a major return. Many hoped it would be the return of Silent Hillbut despite the recent rumors, the new chapter of the famous horror series has again not revealed itself.
Suikoden I & II HD Remaster re-imagines the two chapters with improved graphics, redesigned high-definition backgrounds, new ambient sound effects, updated animations, autosave, and the ability to fast-forward during collisions.
