Price and release date of virtual reality glasses for PlayStation 5

FROM Sony announced that they are working on new virtual reality glasses. Many months have passed. Months during which they gave us details minute by minute. For example, we already knew the launch range, but not the price. Today we know both details.

PlayStation has just announced that its next virtual reality glasses, PS VR2 will go on sale February 22, 2023. And what we also know it’s price: 599.99 euros in the European market. That is in Spain too.

Although in some countries they can be purchased through the PlayStation itself, in Spain we will have to wait until November 15 to reserve them through traditional points of sale in these cases.

Sony has announced that at launch they will be able to: buy separately for €599.99; with a special VR game called Horizon Call of the Mountain. (based on the Aloy universe) for 649.99 euros; and, in addition, with a special charging port that costs 49.99 euros.

As we have seen, PlayStation VR2 will include new features for the company. That is: glasses feedback, eye tracking, 3D audio and adaptive triggers, as well as haptic feedback of PS VR2 Sense controllers.
