Warzone 2.0 is out tomorrow, though you can start preloading now to save yourself the wait for the game to load. The new Call of Duty Battle Royale retains the essence of the previous one, but introduces some changes to the mechanics, gameplay and, above all, to the quality of lifeto make the experience easier.
The first and most important change you’ll find in Warzone 2.0 is mobility. Infinity Ward has changed the movement system. The game will be slower, more leisurely. It’s over undo slide, bunny hop and the absurd moves of the first game. Looting and circle collapse in Warzone 2.0

- Unloading equipment: There will be a public event where outfits will be released, but unlike the first game, they will be for all players, so they will have to be competed for.
Another big change has to do with the dynamics of the circles. In some games, the collapse of the circle will behave as usual, as in the first Warzone: a circle that closes in several stages. However, in other games, a circle collapse can split into multiple circles, up to three in some cases, at any time between the first and last collapse. Several circles that gradually converge into one for the rest of the game, which may even overlap or diverge again.

Nonetheless, when some time passes without a victory in the Gulag, the Jailer will appear. This one will have more health than the players, as well as an automaton. The good news is that taking out the Jailer instead of the opposing players brings all four Gulag members back into the game, so opposing players can team up by killing the Jailer over an open mic instead of fighting each other.
Matchmaking system and squads
Another big change that Warzone 2.0 brings is the new squad and ping system. There will now be more filters in the squad system when you are not playing with friends or you are few in the game, both in DMZ and Battle Royale, and you can choose between:
- Voice chat, text chat, Ping
- Up to 3 language preferences
- Game style: competitive, informal, goal-oriented…
The Ping system has also been changed to include the tactical Ping wheel. In both Battle Royale and DMZ, the Ping command can be held down to display eight options via custom images and voice lines: generic Ping, Attack here, watch here, plunder here, gather here, keep quiet, need help, etc.
