In the note shared on the social profiles, Bethesda explains to users that the postponement will allow developers to complete the work to ensure the best possible experience. Here is the content of the press release:

We want to thank everyone for their enthusiasm for Redfall and Starfield. That energy is a big part of what inspires us every day and excites us for what we create. We can’t wait to share the gameplay of both Redfall and Starfield soon. Thank you for your support.

Multiple insiders had been talking about a possible Redfall postponement in recent months, while news of the highly anticipated Starfield’s postponement comes like a bolt from the blue. The only news that gives us good hope is to know that “very soon”, as Bethesda points out, at the end of the release and most likely on the‘Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase’ from next June 12. Date when we might also have news about the release date of the two titles.
