The new model, which has a desktop equivalent to two separate 16:9 monitors, has a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, an aspect ratio of 32:9 and a density of 109 PPI. The QD-OLED panel achieves peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits and has a response time of just 0.03 ms.
Technologies such as Adaptive Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro are also available that enhance the optimization of visual resources. The 1800R curvature provides clearer and brighter colors even at the ends of the super ultra-wide screen and contributes to greater immersion during gameplay.
Another highlight of the ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD is its customized heat dissipation system, which is responsible for keeping the signal processing board cool, minimizing the risk of burns even with all features enabled. There is also a graphene film on the back of the panel that helps maintain the proper temperature.

As for connections, the Taiwanese brand’s new curved gaming monitor features HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports, as well as high-bandwidth USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A for plugging in peripherals and storage devices. The model also includes a USB-C input compatible with 90W fast charging.
Asus has yet to reveal the price of the 49-inch ROG Swift OLED monitor or confirm when the gaming display will go on sale.. The markets that will receive the product were also not disclosed by the brand.
