Research firm CIRP says in a new study that 15% of new iPhone buyers are switching from Android.

At the same time, 53% of them take place for quite good reasons. In particular, they name among the reasons that Android smartphones quickly become obsolete, stop working normally, have defects or problems in repair.

Among the most common reasons for switching were “a better camera, an extended list of accessories, or a more mainstream user interface.”

Only 6% of respondents said they switched to iPhone because of FaceTime and iMessage. [9to5]
