Microsoft will end support for Cortana assistant in Windows 10 and Windows 11 by the end of 2023. Big tech should replace the app with Windows Copilot, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistant for more complex tasks with ChatGPT technology.

Microsoft says turning off Cortana may affect some of the way people work in Windows. But, the company is committed to “a smooth transition to new options”.
