I drove for a week on the most comfortable car Acer ES Series 3 Max. Double suspension in a compact design

I have seen and tested many different scooters. Some were better, some were worse, but I could not find the ideal urban option for myself until I rode the new Acer ES Series 3 Max.

See for yourself: lightweight shape made of strong aluminum alloy supports a person weighing up to 120 kg, easy to fold, 10-inch pneumatic column, wide anatomically supported handles, maximum adjustment and a maximum speed of 25 km/h.

And yet, this scooter has not one, but two suspensions – on the front and rear wheels. Moreover, if there is a shortened fork in front, which is familiar in many respects, then two spring shock absorbers are hidden under the deck at the back, which perfectly works out all the bumps, potholes and tile joints during the trip.

Lightweight frame and solid build

The Acer ES Series 3 Max has a well-established alloy frame that is strong enough not to crack at the most unexpected moments, yet light enough at the same time. The weight of the scooter is only 15 kg.

The folding unit also did not cause any complaints and is simple, like everything ingenious: there is a tongue with a lock that needs to be bent, and now the steering column is already in a horizontal state.

In this form, the Acer ES Series 3 Max fits in absolutely any trunk, and in the subway, harsh controllers at the stations will not have any questions.

For convenience and comfort, the rider scooter is equipped with a double suspension. That is, there is depreciation on both the front and rear wheels. And this, admittedly, is one of the main advantages of the ES Series 3 Max scooter.

Even during long trips, the arms and back do not get tired, thanks to the flawless work of the front and rear suspensions. If you later ride this scooter, immediately try to stand on any other, even a kick-sharing one, you will feel all the beauty of the ES Series 3 Max in terms of comfort.

The steering column has a screen that displays the current speed, the selected driving mode and the headlight icon – on or off. Everything is simple and clear.

The mechanical disc brake is located on the rear wheel.

The brake on the ES Series 3 Max is mechanical, mounted on the rear wheel. There is also an electronic one, so when you hold the handle, the scooter first brakes smoothly with the front wheel, and if you hold it harder, the rear wheel brake is activated.

It remains to add that the scooter has wings that perfectly protect against splashes. Specially checked, drove on wet asphalt, and did not find a single spot on the jeans.

Really POWERFUL motor

The scooter is not afraid of puddles, you can ride in wet weather.

Now about the motor-wheel. It’s in the front, with a 350W high-torque motor inside, and it really lets you enjoy the speed. I weigh 87kg and this scooter takes me up steep hills that most other scooters can’t handle.

You might think that 350 watts is not too much. However, the power of the scooter is influenced by many factors, including not only the controllers that regulate the current output, but also the very structure of the motor-wheel.

I haven’t disassembled the ES Series 3 Max, but I feel like the makers somehow managed to squeeze almost the maximum power out of this machine.

The scooter develops a maximum speed of 25 km/h in just a second, and for quieter rides, an “eco-mode” is provided, in which the speed is limited to 10 km/h.

A convenient position that in the ES Series 3 provides maximum cruise control: if you hold the throttle sensor in one position for 5 seconds, a beep will sound and the current speed will be fixed. You can let off the gas and enjoy the ride.

Comfortable handlebar. I, with a height of 183 cm, feel comfortable.

I want especially comfortable handles that have anatomical support for the wrists, so that the hands do not get tired and do not hang out.

Many owners of large scooters buy these separately, while the ES Series 3 Max already has them installed out of the box. Great respect for this.

Descent impressions. How long will it last without recharging

The battery is enough for plus or minus 40 km. I tested the power reserve in Izmailovsky Park, and after 20 km of driving in a mixed style of five divisions of the battery on the on-board computer, three more discharges. The ES Series 3 Max is charged with a complete charge from zero to 100% in 4 – 4.5 hours.

In the home-metro-work mode, the ES Series 3 Max generally can be downloaded only once a week. I prefer that I travel 1.2 km from my house to the metro, and then from the metro to the office another 1.5 km.

The scooter does not look fragile, but it does not scare passers-by with its bulky appearance. Perfect balance.

So the ES Series 3 Max has become for me a visible “last mile” transport that helps out the day on the way to and from work, and on weekends it allows me to unwind in parks and squares for almost the whole day.

Charging is completely silent and moderately compact. Some laptops have more. There is an LED on the body of the power supply that indicates the charging status of the scooter or in green.

What is the result: top transport for the summer

Traveled all the parks in Moscow. Got a lot of fun.

I can say with confidence that the Acer ES Series 3 Max is the most comfortable scooter in its class, because it feels like you are not riding, but literally floating through the streets, standing on a soft marshmallow.

It is convenient to hold the steering wheel, thanks to thoughtful grips, the power of the scooter is enough to experience positive emotions from speed, without the risk of losing control and getting into an unpleasant situation with a fall.

Lensed headlight for the dark. It shines brightly enough, but does not blind oncoming passers-by.

Its light weight allows it to almost reach stair and subway climb height, so if you plan on using the scooter as a home-to-ground transport, the ES Series 3 Max is just a review.
