One of the world’s largest venture capital firms, Sequoia Capital, will split into three separate organizations. Each of them will work with a separate region: US and Europe, China, India and Southeast Asia.

Sequoia Capital will be divided into three independent companies

Sequoia Capital announced the division into three independent venture capital firms. This was reported in Bloomberg. The reorganization will take place in March 2024.

Sequoia Capital was founded in 1972 and is currently one of the largest venture capital companies in the world. The organization has invested in Cisco, Google, PayPal, Youtube, Airbnb, Yahoo, and many other companies.

Each of Sequoia Capital’s three independent companies will work with a specific market: the first with the US and Europe, the second with China, the third with India and Southeast Asia.

The United States plans to sign an executive order that will limit the ability of American companies to invest in the Chinese economy. Under the current circumstances, running a global investment business is becoming increasingly difficult, Sequoia Capital was quoted as saying by the agency.
