Several State Duma deputies took the initiative to create legal file-sharing services in Russia to distribute content from “unfriendly” countries. A letter with this proposal was sent to Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, writes TASS.
It is proposed to host content from “unfriendly” corporations on file hosting services, the distribution of which is limited in Russia by their initiative, the document says.
The authors of the initiative pointed out that limiting the distribution of sanctioned media products violates Article 44 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, which refers to the right of every Russian to have access to the cultural values that these media products, in particular, possess. . .
It is also proposed to distribute social advertising and advertising for products of Russian manufacturers on these file hosting services. Resources can introduce advertising, which owners of a paid subscription can disable.
