Swiss company Logitech, one of the market leaders for computers, video games, mobile phones and other devices, made two major acquisitions between 2017 and 2018. It first acquired Astro Gaming for $85 million and then Blue Microphones for $177 million. Now the company has revealed how it plans to include both companies in its product catalog..

According to The Verge, Logitech will bring Astro Gaming and Blue Microphones under the Logitech G labelfocused on gamers and broadcasters. But as Astro’s products stay pretty much the same and continue to stand out, the Blue brand will be phased out, only the Yeti seal was used. “We will protect the Yeti brand and place it in Logitech G. The name “Blue” will only be used to describe our technologies,” says the Swiss company’s FAQ page.

Logitech even posted a post on its official Twitter profile answering some questions about the merger between the Logitech G, Astro Gaming and Blue Microphones brands:

As for Astro, Logitech has made it very clear which brand will get special attention. “[A marca] With plans to launch new Astro products in the future as well, the company will continue to live on as a premium product line under the Logitech G banner,” he said. “We are thrilled that Astro has become a product line within Logitech G,” the company explains.

Finally, it’s already possible to see Yeti microphones being sold via the official Logitech G website, without external links to Blue company pages or excerpts highlighting the old company. Item descriptions only mention: “With Blue VO!CE”.
