You can now add songs to Instagram notes

Instagram notes, which became available worldwide a few months ago, now include a widely used option in stories. From today users they will be able to post what they are listening to in their notes along with a short text, and your subscribers will be able to play a snippet up to 30 seconds long.

This feature is similar to an option recently added by BeReal that allows you to see what your friends are listening to. The difference, yes, is that Instagram’s new note-taking feature isn’t automatic. That is, unlike BeReal, where you can link your Spotify or Apple Music account so that it automatically detects what you listen to on the respective platform, on Instagram. you will need to select a song manuallyin the same way as we do in stories.

The social network owned by Meta also added Translator which can be activated with an option in those texts that do not match the language set in the application. So if a user has Instagram in Spanish and sees a note in English, they can translate it by following a few simple steps.

Just click on the note and then click on the “View Translation” option that appears at the bottom of the text.

As a reminder, Instagram allows you to write notes up to 60 characters long, including emoticons. They appear in the private messages section.
