Nvidia confirms RTX 4060 will arrive early for this month

The standard GeForce RTX 4060 was only scheduled for release in July. however, Nvidia has decided to wait for the release of the new graphics card model for this month.. The manufacturer has confirmed that the GPU is arriving on June 29.

The official information came after a leaked document surfaced revealing the new launch date of the RTX 4060. With this progress, the standard GPU model comes one month after the RTX 4060 Ti variant, which was released in May.

The GeForce RTX 4060 will be available to order starting June 29 at 06:00 Pacific.

The new card was announced on Nvidia’s official website with a suggested price of $299; this equates to about R$1,453 at the current price. It is clear that the official distribution value in Brazil will be much higher than the one-to-one dollar conversion.

Features and promises

While the RTX 4060 only comes with 8 GB VRAM option, the Ti model offers the same capacity or 16 GB VRAM option. The base clock of the cards is quite different, while the buff is somewhat similar. Nvidia has prepared a comparison between the models:

On the new video card’s official website, the manufacturer promises “Immersive gameplay accelerated by ray tracing and DLSS 3,” as well as highlighting the GPU’s business and productivity capabilities through its Nvidia Studio software.
