Mobile phone update Samsung To One UI 7 And Android 15 make you wait longer than you would like. The Korean company has promised that the beta version of the new operating system will reach compatible devices before the end of 2024, so the stable version will only be available from 2025.

But which will be the first Samsung phones to get access to the One UI 7 and Android 15 beta? As is currently known, the Asian manufacturer intends to update more than 50 models of its devices, including smartphones and tablets, to the next generation of its software.

However, the company will not launch the development version of One UI 7 on all compatible devices, at least not initially. The beta version will debut on the brand’s high- and mid-range models.. And although its availability may be expanded later, SamMobile indicates that Samsung will detect it on the fly.

Which Samsung phones will be able to install One UI 7 and Android 15 beta?

Those who want to try One UI 7 and Android 15 before the stable update arrives will have to have one of Samsung’s better-spec phones. We are talking about the latest flagships of the Galaxy S family, the last four generations of the brand’s folding devices, or individual specific cases among mid-range technology.

Specifically, One UI 7 and Android 15 beta will reach these devices:

  • Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra and S24 FE;
  • Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra and S23 FE;
  • Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra;
  • Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra and S21 FE;
  • Galaxy Z Fold 3, Fold 4, Fold 5 and Fold 6;
  • Galaxy Z Flip 3, Flip 4, Flip 5 and Flip 6;
  • Galaxy A54 and A55;
  • Galaxy A35.

If the One UI 7 and Android 15 beta does not have any major issues such as bugs or stability issues, it is logical to assume that Samsung will be able to offer it on more compatible devices before its final launch. Either way, we’ll have to wait to see if that’s really the case.

The Koreans avoided specifying a specific release date for the experimental version of their new software. but most likely it will be deployed in November and December.

There was initial confusion as Samsung indicated that the beta would reach developers before the end of 2024. This led to speculation that the program might not be available to the general public, although the firm later stressed that it would be open to everyone. those who would like to install One UI 7 and Android 15 on devices that support it.

Another thing to consider: One UI 7 beta probably not available worldwide from day one. Asians tend to release their software gradually, starting in countries like South Korea, the US and Germany and expanding its availability over a period of weeks. It is worth clarifying, however, that it has not yet been announced how this year will unfold.
