According to users and media, this update causes a decrease in the game performance of the device. Initially, the developers promised that the new firmware will improve performance with a low power consumption of only 9 watts.

However, after the first tests, it became clear that the effect was the opposite. Gaming performance has dropped and in some cases the power consumption of the console has increased to 25W.

Asus representatives have already acknowledged the problem. They also urged to refrain from installing this update for the time being.

Users who have already managed to update the firmware should wait until the developers identify the cause of the problem and fix it. Those who want to revert to the previous version of the firmware are invited to use the tool called ASUS EZ Flash.
