We are talking about a deep-sea model that can operate at depths of more than 2 km. According to Zhdanov, Yason is currently under construction at the Sevmash production unit and will be ready in the third quarter of next year.

The innovation is reportedly designed to perform underwater work at depths of up to 2250 meters, including the maintenance of offshore gas pipelines.

The device will be controlled by a team of two: the operator controlling “Jason” and a technician. Another feature of the device is the case made of acrylic material, which provides 270 degrees of vision.

Remind me that the construction of the Yason project 03660 for Gazprom began in June 2022.
