The Fix Price network will begin to place special QR codes on the price tags of products, by clicking on them you will be able to obtain additional information about the product, its composition and other characteristics. The company’s press service told RB.RU about the innovation.

By clicking on the QR code, the buyer will be able to see a short video about the product. You can also go to the product sheet on the website with information about the composition or additional information about the functionality.
According to the director of the marketing department, Victoria Smirnova, more than 70% of the chain’s assortment changes up to six times a year, so buyers have the need to study the properties of new products.
At the same time, not all packages allow you to quickly and conveniently study the composition and other characteristics.
“The solution for our business is quite effective: we will use already created videos for social networks and the printing of QR codes on the price tag will not lead to an increase in operating costs,” explained Victoria Smirnova.
The company has already tested the new functionality in five metropolitan stores. By the second quarter of 2024, QR codes will appear on all price tags in all Fix Price stores in Russia.
