The iTHome resource, citing data from the Display Supply Consulting Company (DSCC), reports that Apple ordered more displays for the iPhone 15 Pro than for the iPhone 14 Pro a year earlier.

Display order volume for iPhone 14 Pro was 43%, for iPhone 14 (June-July 2022), with iPhone 15 Pro accounting for 58% of all orders. It should also be noted that the total screen size for the iPhone 15 is 2 times larger than that for the iPhone 14.

Curiously, the display display for the iPhone 14 dropped by 22% compared to the iPhone 13 in the same month last year.

Apparently, Apple is confident that the new generation of iPhones will use more value than efficiency. Due to the newly installed USB-C port, one is expected to be installed. [PhoneArena]
