Apple won’t change App Store rules for drug use after Spotify accused it of non-competitive prescribing. According to Bloomberg, exactly such cases were voiced by Apple representatives at the hearing on Friday.
The company will claim that it wrongly accused it of illegal restrictions on production. Over the past two years, Apple has eliminated all possible problems associated with competition.
A Spotify spokesperson stated that this was not the case. Apple still doesn’t allow developers to contact apps for other payment methods.
These rules are still in place today, and Apple’s alleged changes don’t really change or affect anything just for show.
