Some critics, like Ars Technica’s Andrew Cunningham, consider it a worthwhile option for a mid-range gaming PC, but others, like Tom’s Hardware’s Jarred Walton, point out that it lags far behind the previous generation RTX 3060 Ti.

The main criticisms of the RTX 4060 are its limited 128-bit memory bus and 8GB of VRAM, which degrades its performance compared to older cards in certain scenarios.

Many reviewers feel that its features do not justify its $300 price tag. They point out that the RTX 3060 Ti and even the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT offer better performance and can be found at a similar or lower price.
