Yandex.Delivery is preparing a platform for working with entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan, said Alibek Yesov, Regional Director for Service Development in the CIS, during the E-com KG-2023 forum.
“We are preparing our platform to work with companies in Kyrgyzstan. Now we are negotiating with catering networks, online stores, we see a lot of interest. For our part, we determine the priorities in terms of the delivery format and, first of all, the modes of transport that are needed. We will be happy to open our platform to entrepreneurs and companies in Kyrgyzstan to access delivery solutions, and for logistics and courier companies to access orders,” Yesov was quoted as saying by The Economist.
According to a company representative, the launch in Bishkek and other cities in the country is scheduled for the next six months.
The Yandex.Delivery press service told RB.RU that the company “will offer companies different delivery formats: from express delivery and daytime delivery to cargo delivery.” After Bishkek, the service plans to launch in Osh and Jalal-Abad.
According to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Economy, there are currently 257 e-retail websites operating in the country.
In Russia, Yandex.Delivery is present in 1000 cities.
