Universities in the Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod and Ulyanovsk Regions have launched additional training programs that train specialists in managing the official pages of state organizations. This program has been developed in conjunction with Regional Management Centers (RCCs), the organizations responsible for monitoring and processing complaints from residents. As part of the training, status certificates are given to the page managers.

The program includes training in working with feedback from the population, analytics of the knowledge space, conducting online sociology and developing official pages in social networks. Students study at universities such as the branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) in the Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod State University in the Belgorod Region and other educational institutions.

In social networks, the communication of organizations with the target audience plays an important role, and the management of official pages is the responsibility of public institutions. The aim of the program is to provide interesting and useful information to the target audience of each organization. This requires administrators of public pages to create quality content and provide clear and specific responses to citizens’ comments.

From 1 December last year, it has become mandatory for authorities and subsidiaries to maintain official pages on social networks. The new additional training program stands out as it is the first program in Russia that covers the features of managing state pages in social networks and issues state-recognized certificates to managers.
