However, the value of his coin has since plummeted: the cartoon monkey’s value is currently under $59,000, meaning 95% depreciation in less than 18 months, but it’s unknown if Bieber used his own money to buy the NFT gift. He speculated that he might have gotten it as a product or as part of an advertising campaign.
