In the summer, many people ignore the ban on bathing in fountains, unaware of the potential danger of contamination with dangerous microorganisms. This was warned by Denis Banny, a physician-expert at the Hemotest Laboratory. Fountains are not designed for bathing and do not have cleaning systems like pools and are also disinfectant-free. For this reason, the water in them can be contaminated with dust and pathogenic bacteria and parasites that reach there with various animals.

Bathing in the fountain can lead to eye, ear and skin infections. If the parasites in the water get into the eyes and ears, they can cause inflammation and inflammation, as well as cause redness and itching on the skin. More serious infections such as acute intestinal infections, cholera and hepatitis A can also be found in tap water. Also, sprinklers can be dangerous due to pumps, lights, and electricity, and misuse can result in injury.

Instead of swimming in the fountains, it is recommended to visit the city’s outdoor pools, which provide filtration and disinfection of water. Such pools comply with sanitary requirements and are checked for water quality. Therefore, it is important to follow the rules and choose safe places to rest and swim in order to avoid possible infections and injuries.
