Google has expanded the functionality of the Bard chatbot: now you can communicate in 40 languages, change the tone and style of communication. Bard has been trained to respond to requests with a short or long answer, in simple words or with terminology.
Google has introduced an update to its own Bard chatbot. The company called the expansion of the bot’s functionality the most significant since its launch.
Bard was trained to change the tone and style of communication. He can now answer users’ questions briefly or in detail, in simple words or professionally; the latter feature is currently only available in English.
The chatbot allows you to “share” responses and use a photo in the search bar. You can upload a photo to a chat with the bot – it will find information about it via Google Lens and write a description for it.
Also, Google has expanded the list of countries where Bard is available. The chatbot can communicate in 40 languages, including Russian, but Russia is not on Bard’s list of supported countries.
In July, Google updated its privacy policy. The company will use all “public” content to train its Bard neural network.
