The majority of Russians admitted that they have long dreamed of starting their own business, mainly reselling products, opening their own production or taking up a franchise – 18% each, an Ozon market survey showed. RB.RU got acquainted with the results.
68% are ready to invest up to 500,000 rubles to start their own business, almost a quarter – up to 1 million rubles, and every tenth – more than 1 million rubles.
At the same time, only 23% of respondents have an education in the field of entrepreneurship. Another 44% said they get the skills they need while working for another company.
In general, 38% of respondents believe that the availability of start-up capital is the key to starting a business, 21% – a correct business plan and one in five – experience in the field. Another 69% said they are ready to open a joint business with family and friends, and for 36% of them, a clear division of duties and roles in business is important.
The June 2023 online survey included 1,520 Russian residents aged 18 and over.
