Meta Vice President and Chief Artificial Intelligence Scientist Yann LeCun commented earlier this month: competitive artificial intelligence environment, next months or weeks“When will there be open source platforms that are actually as good as those that aren’t? [open source]”.
Access to the LLAMA business model is possible free of charge at first, but that has to change. According to confidential sources linked to Meta, companies that want to change or adapt the model must be charged.
