The Russian Quantum Center and VK signed an agreement on the development of quantum computing in the cloud. This was reported to RB.RU by a VK representative.
The partners plan to carry out work using the VK Cloud cloud platform. “The first experiments have already made it possible to solve some of the technological and infrastructure problems and to make calculations with record figures for Russia,” a company representative said.
The main areas of work are the formation of a cloud environment that will help accelerate innovation in the field of quantum computing. We are talking about building a quantum computer in the cloud and running key quantum algorithms in real time.
The cloud platform will reportedly become the foundation for training a new generation of developers working with quantum technologies to solve applied problems.
