An urgent security update has been released by Google for the desktop version of Chrome. update fixes eighth browser zero-day vulnerability in 2022 this year alone🇧🇷

The update notice states “Google is aware of an exploit for CVE-2022-4135”. The high severity flaw was discovered last Tuesday (22) by Clement Lecigne of Google’s Threat Analysis Group. The problem is causing a heap buffer overflow, causes data to be written to prohibited locations without verification.

“Access to bug details and links may be restricted until the majority of users are updated with a fix. If the bug resides in a third-party library that other projects likewise depend on, we’ll keep the restrictions in place.but not fixed yet”, fixed big tech.

With the vulnerability, attackers can overwrite the memory of some applications and thus change the execution path🇧🇷 With this, they can have unlimited access to information or arbitrary code execution.

Google Chrome users should go to browser settings, search “About Chrome” and download the latest version. Then you need to restart the program. Versions are 107.0.5304.121/122 for Windows and 107.0.5304.122 for Mac and Linux.
