Researchers from Saratov State Technical University (SGTU), named after him. Yu.A. Gagarin developed a computer program at the production stage that allowed to increase the power of the aircraft, as well as reduce its fuel consumption.
It is based on a method for analyzing nanoplates subjected to static loads that often lead to deformations. Vadim Krysko, one of the developers, head of the Department of Mathematics and Modeling of SSTU, said that in the graphical interface of the program you can set the value of its parameters, including load, size, type of porosity.
The developed program can take into account parameters at macro, micro and nano levels. With its help, you can take into account the large angles of rotation of the structure, as well as the material from which its elements are made. The lower the weight, the lower the fuel consumption.
According to the researchers, the method is more accurate than existing approaches and significantly reduces computation time when modeling structures.
The program can also be requested in the automotive industry, in gyroscopy, as well as in the creation of medical equipment.
