The publication’s interlocutor says the deal will allow the bank to integrate the ticketing platform into its mobile app and attract audiences to the ecosystem by selling exclusive concert tickets.
In 2022, the total turnover from ticket sales for entertainment events amounted to 70-120 billion rubles, said Evgeny Safronov, editor-in-chief of InterMedia, adding that the industry “has not developed a unified calculation methodology.” .
According to his forecast, in 2023 the market will reach 100-150 billion rubles. Kassir.ru “occupies a large part”, so Alfa-Bank’s decision to buy a share in this particular service seems quite logical, Ticketscloud CEO Egor Yegerev suggested.
