Moscow Deputy Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov reported on the state of the furniture industry in 2023 compared to 2022. From January to May, the volume of production at the factories of the capital as the turnover of Moscow companies.
“From January to May 2023, the volume of furniture production in capital companies increased by 25.2% compared to the same period last year. <…> The turnover amounted to 7.88 billion rubles, which is 43.2% more than the figure for the same period in 2022, ”TASS said, citing a representative of the mayor’s office.
The companies in question create a wide variety of furniture from a wide range of materials. According to Efimov, about 90 furniture manufacturing companies currently operate in the capital. Most of them are small companies, only four can be classified as medium and large companies.
The total volume of products shipped by fariki furniture from Moscow in January-May 2023 amounted to 5.33 billion rubles.
