Sberbank increases the share of Russian cybersecurity solutions to 94-95%. Stanislav Kuznetsov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank, shared this information. Kuznetsov expressed his desire to ensure the use of 100 percent domestic technologies in the field of cybersecurity by 2025, but noted that some foreign solutions are still quite effective, they are not available in Russia. The Bank is actively working on developing similar systems and finding compensatory solutions.
Sberbank has been developing cybersecurity for a long time, and the equipment, software and solutions in its offices are created by Russian experts, including bank specialists. Kuznetsov noted that artificial intelligence technologies used for cyber defense make it possible to predict the right decision, even if mistakes are often caused by fraudsters. In this way, the fraud detection system shows 99.7% efficiency.
