State Duma deputies are developing a development that will allow the creation of a national cryptoplatform, Vedomosti writes.
It will contain a register of crypto exchangers and exporters, as well as monitor compliance with security requirements and license their activities. Russian miners received a separate OKVED code for legal work.
With the help of the platform, exporters can use cryptocurrency in cross-border payments. In addition, it will reduce dependence on high financial performance, said Sergei Altukhov, a member of the State Duma’s economic audit committee.
The Central Bank allows the use of cryptocurrency in the course of unscheduled payments in the form of an experiment. This project is supposed to be in the form of an experimental legal regime. [Ведомости]
