Despite these reports, Sonos continues to reproduce the issue to fix it. Users have expressed dissatisfaction, with some describing the noise as more of a “bell” than an explosion.

Sonos acknowledges the issue, blaming the Arc as a compatibility issue that occurs when connecting certain streaming devices and TV combinations while playing Dolby Atmos content.

The company is actively looking for the root cause and working with third parties to find a solution. Meanwhile, some users are trying to find workarounds, but the final solution is not yet available.
