In the first half of 2023, the share of Apple computers, predominantly laptops, fell to 6.6% from 7% last year. In general, after the company left Russia, sales of “apple” computers fell by 25%, but this electronics still remains the most popular in the Russian market.
According to analyst Eldar Murtazin, this is due to the Russian consumer’s devotion and inclination to Apple products. Another interlocutor of Izvestia noted that the share of other leading computer brands has decreased. For comparison, Lenovo’s share was 15.4% in 2022 vs. 8.1% in 2023, 17.8% vs. Asus’s share 9.7%, 13.7% vs. Acer% HP increased to 3.8% versus 6.7, 21.3%.
