This service used Discord authorization to access servers. Discord has yet to directly comment on the information, but Discord.io management has confirmed the fact of the leak, which they learned from the vendor on one of the darknet forums. Discord.io announced that all operations will be suspended “in the near future”.
The hacker published test samples of user data and all entries turned out to be valid. The vendor claims that the leaked records contain logins, email addresses, hashed passwords, and other information.
This indicates the risk of phishing, malicious spam and other types of scams to affected users. That’s why the service urged all users to enable two-factor authentication and change passwords.
