The Mix Fold 3’s outer screen is 6.56 inches diagonal. When the device is turned off, it looks much more like a regular smartphone compared to Samsung’s foldable smartphone. The screen refresh rate is 120 Hz, the brightness is up to 2600 nits. However, in the sun this screen is not as bright as a Samsung smartphone. At the same time, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 has no problem with PWM.
The brightness of the built-in screen is 1300 nits, diagonal – 8 inches. It can also change the refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. Although Xiaomi states in the presentation that the folding on the screen of the device is not visible, it is not. He is quite visible.
Performance-wise, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is doing great. It has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Configuration options are available for 12/16 GB RAM and 256/512 GB / 1 TB permanent memory.
Also, the smartphone only has Chinese and English. In addition, there are Google services in the system, but they are not enabled by default: you have to enable them yourself in the settings.

The battery of the smartphone has a capacity of 4800 mAh. The Mix Fold 3 also comes with a 67W charger. The phone charges to 100% in about 40 minutes. Wireless 50-watt charging fully charges the device in 55 minutes. It also has no reverse charge.
The sound of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is also good: balanced and pleasant. The smartphone also has Dolby Atmos support. The only thing is that there is a feeling that the top speaker is a little louder than the bottom speaker.
The photos on the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 are pretty good. You can see examples above. All three cameras (on the main camera and two telephoto cameras) have optical stabilization of the smartphone. You can record video at maximum 4K 60fps. The Mix Fold 3 has two selfie cameras: on the outer and inner screens. However, the dynamic range of the front camera is richer in the Samsung Z Fold 5 compared to the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3.
The first impression of the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is very good. A very nice business smartphone that works fast. It also has cool cameras, slim, comfortable in the hand.
