The Progress MS-22 cargo spacecraft left the International Space Station (ISS) and crashed into the Pacific Ocean. This information is transmitted by the press service of Roskosmos on Telegram.

On the night of August 20-21, the Russian Progress MS-22 cargo spacecraft successfully detached from the Zvezda module and left the ISS. On the morning of the same day, it entered the Earth’s atmosphere and collapsed. The unburned parts of the ship fell into the unnavigable part of the Pacific Ocean.

The replacement vehicle for the Progress MS-22 on the ISS will be the Progress MS-24 cargo spacecraft, which will arrive in four days. The station is also home to the Progress MS-23 cargo spacecraft and a crew of Russian and foreign astronauts.
