Russian automaker Sollers will start car production in Azerbaijan in autumn 2023. This is the first export market for the company.
Sollers is also going to enter the markets of other countries. So far, the states of the Customs Union that recognize the Russian homologation of the vehicle are being considered. The company did not provide details about the project, writes TASS.
- The Sollers Auto group includes UAZ and the ZMZ industrial center in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Since March, the group has suspended joint ventures in the Far East with the Japanese Mazda, in Yelabuga with the American Ford and in the Ulyanovsk region with Isuzu.
