VK has closed an agreement according to which it will increase its stake in the Tetrika online school to more than 90%, the holding company said in a statement.

VK will increase its participation in the Tetrika online school and merge it with the Teach.Home platform

The company will also merge Tetrika and the Teach.Home platform to “strengthen its position in the further school education market.” Both projects will continue to work under their own brands.

“Tetrika” and “Uchi.Doma” specialize in one-on-one lessons with tutors on school subjects, exam preparation, and Olympics. Tetrika has more than 41 thousand students and around 3.7 thousand active teachers.

Uchi.Doma is part of the Uchi.ru group of companies, one of the largest online educational platforms in Russia, where VK bought a 75% stake in February 2023 for 8.7 billion rubles and raised its ownership to 100%. More than 12 million students, 6 million parents and 800,000 teachers are registered with Uchi.ru.
