How to create an author page in Google Scholar?

1. Access the official Google Scholar website;

2. When you get there, start by filling in the Name field where you can enter your name or any other name you want to be recognized by;

3. Then enter your position and institution in the “Membership” section;

4. Then enter an email in the next field so they can check your articles;

5. In the “Interests” section you should specify which topics your article deals with;

6. You can post a link to your website in the “Home” area. Reminding that it is not mandatory;

7. After completing the fields, click the “Next” button to continue the creation of your Google Scholar profile;

8. On the next screen, Google will display articles bearing your name or similar. It is possible to choose the ones that truly belong to you. To do this check the text box in front of the link as shown in the image below;

9. Then click the arrow on the right at the top of the screen;

10. Next, Google will ask you what actions you want to take, remembering that you can apply updates automatically, or send an email to analyze whether it is really yours;

11. After making all the markings, press the “Done” button;

12. OK, you will now have access to your Google Scholar page; here you will be able to see all your relevant articles, even statistics on publications, citations and access to them.
