Home appliance maker Polaris is considering entering the markets of the United Arab Emirates and other countries in the Middle East. The company has already changed its contacts on the English site to the address of Arvis, registered in Dubai. Now the brand is looking for a director of sales development in the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East.
It has already been announced that Arvis will participate in European consumer electronics exhibitions and supply Polaris equipment from China to Russia, writes Kommersant.
The publication’s interlocutors doubt that Polaris can seriously scale up in the Middle East, since the company’s equipment does not correspond to the specifics of local demand. However, the office in the United Arab Emirates will help arrange deliveries from China and sales in other countries.
Polaris household appliances in Russia were in great demand in the first half of 2023 in many categories of household appliances, in particular in kettles, meat grinders and blenders. The growth of ruble sales since the beginning of the year in almost all categories has exceeded 50%, said Alexey Pogudalov, commercial director of Holodilnik.ru.
