OpenAI has introduced a new version of ChatGPT that will evolve along with the public chatbot. ChatGPT Enterprise is business-focused and offers enterprise-grade security and privacy.
An announcement of a new version of the popular chat bot, adapted to the needs of companies, appeared on the official OpenAI blog. According to the company, ChatGPT Enterprise offers customers enterprise-grade security and privacy by leveraging the power of the latest GPT-4 language model.
Since ChatGPT’s public release just nine months ago, we’ve seen it used by over 80% of Fortune 500 companies. We’ve heard from the leaders of these companies that they would like an easy and secure way to implement our product in their organization.
The enterprise version of ChatGPT allows companies to keep the data that employees share with the chatbot confidential, while using all the tools of the language model. All interactions with the neural network are encrypted both during information transmission and at rest.
Also, ChatGPT Enterprise works up to twice as fast and removes all restrictions on the number of requests. The model allows a context of up to 32,000 tokens (~25,000 words), processing four times more data and files than the public version. ChatGPT Enterprise also provides unlimited access to advanced data analysis known as Code Interpreter. This feature helps technicians work effectively with financials, surveys, and other rich data sets.
OpenAI does not mention the cost of implementing ChatGPT Enterprise at work, nor the exact timing of the release of the new version of the chatbot.
